ABOUT US

Donna Dwiggins, Ph.D. is an educator, researcher, trainer and coach that has 40+ years of experience working with students and teachers across the continuum from kindergarten to graduate school. As a professor in higher education, she developed and directed a graduate teaching program in special education and acted as the advisor for students with disabilities. She has served as an executive coach and consultant for administrators and managed several large-scale school and district reform projects. Her background also includes spearheading the startup of 3 schools, as well as serving as a principal of a residential school for behaviorally and emotionally disabled students. Donna has developed programs for teaching problem solving and thinking skills, social skills, study skills, and career readiness.  She holds a doctorate in Special Education and Rehabilitation from the University of Oregon.

 

Lindsey Rousan, M.A. is a certified as a Life Coach for youth and as a School Counselor in the state of Florida.  She has 14 years of experience coaching and counseling students in elementary, middle, high school and alternative education settings.  She has extensive expertise with behavior management and Functional Behavioral Assessment and has worked as a coach and consultant with 30+ schools on the implementation of Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS).  Lindsey has developed and implemented curricula and programs for Peer Mediation, Restorative Practices, college and career readiness, thinking and problem solving, financial literacy, and ‘soft’ skills for career readiness. She completed a Master of Arts in Counseling at the University of Guam and continues her professional development as an Educational Consultant, School Counselor, and Life Coach.
